START
YOUR NEW YEAR ON THE SNOW!
We're
kicking off the New Year with excellent conditions and nearly the
entire resort is open with 100% available lifts and 98% open runs!
Whatever your style, we've got you covered. We offer plenty of terrain
and park features for all levels. The Family Park, located on the
far West end of the mountain, is ideal for low intermediate riders.
Chairs 6, 7 and 10 are great getaways for intermediate and advanced
skiers and snowboarders.
GET
THE MOST OUT OF YOUR DAY
For
a more enjoyable day, we suggest arriving a few hours early when
renting ski/ snowboard equipment, purchasing tickets and purchasing
lessons. On the other hand, if you have the option of picking up
tickets, lessons and rental equipment the day before, we highly
recommend it in order for your next day's activities to go as planned.
Have fun on the snow!
TICKET
AVAILABILITY IS LIMITED - RESERVE YOUR TICKETS TODAY!
Pre-purchasing lift tickets will guarantee you a place on the mountain!
Because we limit the amount of ticket sales to ensure shorter lift
lines and wide open runs, reserving your tickets before the holiday
rush will get you on the hill faster! Place your reservations at
least one day in advance on the area, online or over the phone at
(909)866-5841. Click HERE to purchase your lift tickets now.
WINTER
WEATHER EXPECTED LATE THIS WEEK!
The forecast is calling for winter weather to arrive Thursday night,
which will give skiers and snowboarders an additional day Thursday
afternoon to get in some riding time before this storm rolls in.
Forecasters expect this system to last through Sunday bringing with
it a possibility of substantial snowfall! Think...POWDER!

WINTER SEASON APPROACHING
Fall is here and BBMR is gearing up in preparation for the winter
season. Although Bear Mountain and Snow Summit do not have a designated
opening date, our target opening date is typically mid November
and even earlier depending on weather conditions. We have the largest
snowmaking system and we're ready to start them up as soon as the
weather remains cold enough. Each resort covers hundreds of acres
of ski runs each season with an average of three to five feet of
solid man-made snow, the equivalent of about ten feet of natural
snow. So no matter what the temperature is in the city BBMR will
have snow all winter long! THINK SNOW!
You
get more at Big Bear Mountain Resorts — two resorts
with one season pass. Your 2007/2008 dual mountain season passes
will be valid at both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. Bear Mountain
season passes are priced at a level to be affordable for young snowboarders
looking to spend their days riding THE PARK. As an additional bonus,
Bear Mountain-only passes are valid for Snow Summit night sessions
so shredders can ride on almost every Friday and Saturday night,
all season long! To order your season pass now, click here.
With
interchangeable season passes and a free shuttle between the two
resorts, Snow Summit and Bear Mountain gives Southern California
skiers and snowboarders more options than ever before. Season pass
holders can now use a single pass to access two full-service resorts,
offering you: 26 lifts, 430 developed acres, 55+ runs and the most
amazing collection of parks, pipes and rails around.
