08/09 WINTER SEASON APPROACHING
Fall is here and BBMR is gearing up in preparation for the winter season. Although Bear Mountain and Snow Summit do not have a designated opening date, our target opening date is typically mid November and even earlier depending on weather conditions. We have the largest snowmaking system and we're ready to start them up as soon as the weather remains cold enough. Each resort covers hundreds of acres of ski runs each season with an average of three to five feet of solid man-made snow, the equivalent of about ten feet of natural snow. So no matter what the temperature is in the city BBMR will have snow all winter long! THINK SNOW!You get more at Big Bear Mountain Resorts — two resorts with one season pass. Your 2010/2009 dual mountain season passes will be valid at both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit.
